Satellite Campus
We’re excited to announce the opening of our Day Center Satellite Campus! Thanks to a partnership between the Leavenworth Tabernacle and the City of Leavenworth, we are now able to keep additional guests warm this winter. Although we opened last Thursday with reduced hours, we are now fully operational. Hours of operation are 6AM-9PM Monday-Saturday, and 1:00-9PM Sunday.
Did you know, COVID-19 has impacted the Community of Hope just as it has many businesses. Since March, the shelter has operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However to reduce exposure, cohort guests, and ensure social distancing, the Day Center has been limited to 12 guests. This second location allows us to open spots for 20 more individuals to keep warm during the winter months. It is also located just down the street, which allows guests to walk up and pick up a free meal at lunch.
To keep things up and operating we are in need of volunteers and meals to serve the local Leavenworth community please consider joining our group of volunteers or contributing to our MEAL TRAIN
